* Correction - "2/3 or 3/4" - Glancing at the FBI crime data table (linked above) I estimated about 2/3 or 3/4 of states had more strongarm robbery than robberies involving a firearm. A closer look shows how that was a little over half. In total there are about 25% more strongarm robberies than firearm robberies across all states according to this table.
